Bink Tools ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AforoPro mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Device name and user name (optional, set by you for peer identification).
- Event data you create: event names, dates, counting mode, ticket scans, and attendance records.
- Subscription and purchase information processed through the App Store.
Information collected automatically:
- Device identifiers generated locally for multi-device synchronization.
- Basic device information (platform, app version) for compatibility and debugging.
- Connection logs (timestamps, event join/leave) for service reliability.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's core functionality: event management, counting, and synchronization.
- To enable real-time multi-device synchronization via WebRTC mesh and server sync.
- To process and manage subscriptions and entitlements.
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the App.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data in the following circumstances:
- With other event participants: When you join a shared event, your device name and counting data are shared with other connected devices in that event session.
- With service providers: We use RevenueCat for subscription management. Their processing of data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- As required by law: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.
4. Data Storage and Security
Event data is stored locally on your device and, when server sync is enabled, on our secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) and authentication tokens, to protect your data in transit and at rest.
5. Data Retention
Event data stored on our servers is retained for as long as the event is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your events and their associated data at any time from within the App.
6. Camera and Contacts
The App may request access to:
- Camera: Used exclusively for QR code scanning. Camera data is processed locally and never transmitted to our servers.
- Contacts: Optional feature for device peer identification. Contact data is processed locally and never uploaded.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict the processing of your personal data.
